Memphis Grizzlies would be aided by great college coaching for Matthew Hurt

Say what you want about Duke Basketball and Coach K, but those two names have been synonymous with success for decades. Nobody will deny that Coach K is one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time.

As a matter of fact, I think his track record alone is enough to say that 2020 was a flukey year. Why am I telling you this?

I’m buttering you up to present the idea that Matthew Hurt is probably the most well-coached player in this NBA Draft. Yes, his successful season with the Duke Blue Devils was their worst season in a couple of decades, but Coach K breeds success.

While some prospects carry the bagging of being uncoachable, that would never be a concern for Hurt, who is used to the tough coaching that he’s going to get at the next level.
