No. 1: Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors

The Western Conference standings have been tight all year long. In a strange year for the Golden State Warriors, they actually find themselves a spot behind the Grizzlies in the current NBA standings.

Just as the Grizzlies are breathing down the Mavericks’ necks, the Warriors are breathing down the Grizzlies’ necks for the 8 seed. Both of these teams have hopes of earning a locked-in NBA Playoff spot, so it’ll be a scrappy battle in the last game of the season.

Stephen Curry should be playing in this one, so a battle between a young Grizzlies franchise and a relatively washed-up Warriors franchise could be a great one. That said, the Grizzlies will have Jaren Jackson Jr. back in the lineup at that point, so this will be a star-powered matchup.

In all likelihood, there will be some sort of power struggle going on in the middle of the West at this point, so this game is sure to have playoff implications. In the last game of the season, both of these teams will be fighting for positioning.

The results of this game could be a sign of things to come in the postseason. That could mean the play-in or potentially the NBA Playoffs, depending on the outcome.
