Memphis Grizzlies player potential rankings: No. 16-13

This group is entirely comprised of former undrafted players who have managed to stay on an NBA roster during their time. Their careers still have a chance of taking off, but they’ll have to have a big break.

16. Sean McDermott: Sean McDermott runs out on the court and gives it his all on every play. That said, he’s likely to earn his job in the NBA from being a hard worker on both ends of the court. McDermott has been inefficient when he has seen the court in garbage time and will likely remain the second-most famous Sean McDermott in American sports for the remainder of his career.

15. Jontay Porter: At this point, it’s still unclear whether or not Jontay Porter can make an impact — he hasn’t had an opportunity to in a busy Grizzlies season. He’ll rank at 15th solely because of the unknowns.

14. Killian Tillie: Killian Tillie is probably the most exciting player out of this bunch. He played at a high level in college but will have to work his tail off to become a strong player in the NBA. He has struggled when appearing on the court, but after opposing teams have dealt with Jonas Valanciunas as a metaphorical batting weight for the bulk of the game, Tillie is bound to have it tough.

13. John Konchar: Konchar is the only player out of this bunch who receives meaningful minutes out on the court. He can be feisty on defense, a solid rebounder, and a strong 3-point shooter. In just 13.9 minutes per game this season, he has stepped up as a player who could become a part of this team’s rotation sometime in the future.
