Memphis Grizzlies player potential rankings: No. 3-1

This part of the list will be the players who can become NBA superstars. Each of the three guys that you’ll read about are vital to this franchise’s success and will be the face of the NBA for years to come.

3. Jonas Valanciunas: I will not apologize for putting Jonas Valanciunas this high on the list. Yes, he’s 28 years old, making him one of the oldest players on the team but he has shown that his ceiling as a player has not yet been seen. If he continues to play at the level he has been playing at in 2021, he will go down as one of the greatest Memphis Grizzlies players of all time.

2. Jaren Jackson Jr: It almost seems wrong to put Jaren Jackson Jr. at second on this list. He’s long, athletic, and can shoot the basketball. If he can trim down his fouls, he could become one of the greatest big men in the history of the NBA. That said, he has a long way to go before he gets there. If he can put it all together, the Grizzlies could be unstoppable in a few years.

1. Ja Morant: Surprise, surprise — Ja Morant is first on this list. Not only does Ja Morant have the most potential on this team; he has arguably the most potential of any player in the league. His athleticism combined with his playstyle makes him unguardable when he drives to the lane. If he can figure out how to shoot the 3-pointer more effectively, he’ll be completely and utterly unstoppable as a point guard.
