At the end of the day, the Memphis Grizzlies will simply have to push on

Most notably, the officials didn’t allow the game to have any flow. When there were breaks in the fouling, the Grizzlies would go on a run to put themselves back into the game. Then it would stop and the Jazz would separate.

The NBA is trying to force Memphis out of the playoffs and everybody is noticing. The same league wonders why their ratings are dropping while fans are disgusted with the way games are officiated on a daily basis.

The same NBA that was once considered one of the greatest leagues around the world is now known for catering to its stars to an extreme degree. Such a degree that it takes competitiveness straight out of some contests.

Grizzlies fans even get a small dose of this with a player on their own roster — Ja Morant. Star treatment is real and Morant gets it as much as almost anybody. He’ll drive to the lane and more often than not, a whistle will be blown. Even though it benefits me as a Grizzlies fan, it’s sickening to watch at times.

Next. Ja Morant just broke the Grizzlies' scoring record. dark

Unfortunately for Memphis, the NBA doesn’t look like it’s going to loosen up its officiating for the Memphis Grizzlies. They’ll have to press on, dipping into arguably the deepest bench in the league to get more wins against the Jazz.
