Should the Memphis Grizzlies extend either Kyle Anderson, Jaren Jackson Jr, or Grayson Allen?

Jack Williams: “They should absolutely extend Kyle Anderson and JJJ. Jackson Jr.’s potential is huge for this team, while Anderson’s leadership and versatility is invaluable. As for Grayson Allen, I don’t see much value in him. I think they will extend him, but with the number of shooters at the two-guard spot that this team has, it makes no sense to retain the oldest one who has the lowest shooting percentage among the top three at 39%.”

Taylor Goebel: “Out of those 3 I’d honestly only resign Kyle Anderson and JJJ. Kyle may not be the most athletic or flashy player but he gets the job done. JJJ is still super young and has a very high ceiling so it’d be dumb to let him walk. Allen really isn’t anything special and there are a lot of alternatives that could fill his role easily.”

Caleb Anglin: “The Grizzlies should extend JJJ and let Grayson Allen and Kyle Anderson walk. Grayson can easily be replaced by Desmond Bane. You gotta pick one or the other in my opinion. With them both on the squad, I don’t think there is a chance to let either shine. With Kyle Anderson averaging 12 points a game, you can go get a wing guy to replace him and do the same, if not better. I think they’d be better off without Anderson as long as they replace him.”
