The final scenario is a huge three-team trade, with a lot of assets moving around.

The Memphis Grizzlies could trade Dillon Brooks for James Wiseman, creating a new opportunity for the young center to return to Memphis where he played college basketball for coach Penny Hardaway.

The Memphis Grizzlies would likely have to give up a lot of resources in order to land the 2020 2nd overall draft pick.

The unavailability of Klay Thompson could create a need for someone like Dillon Brooks to fill the void until he is able to return. A report from NBC Sports states Thompson may not be available for game action until Christmas (at the earliest), the team would likely have to give up multiple draft picks.

Even when Thompson returns, Brooks could be an elite sixth man or could slide into the small forward position if Andrew Wiggins were to be traded.

The idea of Brooks alongside Draymond Green could make for some very tenacious defensive sequences for the Warriors— something they’ll need if they are to make it back to the playoffs.

The Oklahoma City Thunder would be taking on salaries to make this trade work and would likely need draft picks to help move that process along. The Grizzlies may be willing to part with Brandon Clarke if they are able to land James Wiseman.

Clarke is a former All-NBA Rookie who should be able to contribute right away, helping Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Thunder get through the earliest stages of a rebuild.
