The Memphis Grizzlies have a roster full of young players who could be among the league’s best down the road. The squad features guys like Dillon Brooks, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Ziaire Williams. One player, however, is at the center of it all.

That player is Ja Morant.

I’ll give you Ja Morant’s statistics from his first couple of years in the league, though they won’t tell the full story on who the Grizzlies guard is as a player. In two years, Morant is averaging 18.4 points, 7.3 assists, and 3.9 rebounds, posting career-highs in each of those categories in the most recent NBA season.

Something that can’t be adequately quantified, however, is Ja Morant’s sheer speed and athleticism, which may be unmatched in the NBA. The only players who come close are guys like Russell Westbrook and De’Aron Fox.

But what if the comparisons didn’t stop at the NBA level?

Who would be comparable to Memphis Grizzlies PG Ja Morant in the NFL?

It’s never necessarily a smart thing to do when you’re comparing players across different sports. As a result, this is your only warning not to take these comparisons too seriously — this is just a fun offseason post.

That said, if there’s a player to compare to a guy in the NFL, Ja Morant might be the one. With lightning speed and inhuman jumping abilities, the Grizzly point guard could likely succeed in football as well. Granted, he would have to add a few pounds, as he’d likely be crushed to death by the likes of JJ Watt or Khalil Mack.

Here are three guys who could be the Ja Morant of the NFL.
