How do the Memphis Grizzlies avoid a Ben Simmons situation with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson, Jr.?

Everyone has watched the Ben Simmons situation in Philly slowly spiral out of control, so how do the Memphis Grizzlies keep our two star players from pulling a Simmons-like stunt and demanding a trade out of Grind City?

Let’s first examine why the 76ers star is so unhappy: he doesn’t think the team helped him develop and correct his weaknesses as a player, he thinks the fans didn’t afford him opportunities to make mistakes or fail like other top draft picks and hasn’t really had public support from his teammates.

The Grizzlies have two cornerstone pieces in Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson, Jr. The players have more leverage than ever in the NBA and most use that to get what they want. If a team can’t meet a player’s wants, needs, or wishes, all he has to do is have his agent leak some info to NBA insiders and the rumors begin to spread like wildfire.

This is how the Memphis Grizzlies can avoid having their star players turn their backs on the team.
