Part 2: Memphis Grizzlies PG Ja Morant had himself another great game

Another game, another 30-point performance from Ja Morant. The Grizzly point guard has now scored 27 or more points in four of the Grizzlies’ five contests, with just a single rough night as a scorer.

There were parts of his game that left much to be desired — specifically, his three-point shooting and rough turnovers. That said, you’d be grasping at straws if you tried to make the argument that Morant didn’t have as good of a game as anybody could have asked for.

The Grizzly point guard managed to score 30 points on the night, dish out five assists, and pull in seven rebounds. He knocked down all six of his free throws and played a total of 42 minutes on the second leg of a back-to-back — a stat that should not go unnoticed. Once again, Morant poured his heart and soul into Grizzlies basketball and delivered at a high level.

Perhaps the toughest part about this was that the Grizzly point guard was putting in work defensively on the night. This was evident by the fact that he recorded four steals on the night, one shy of his career-high.

I’m not really sure what else to say about Morant but this — appreciate him, he’s a special talent.
