The Memphis Grizzlies survived a tough road trip, splitting their four games. The two wins came against the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, sandwiching two losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Memphis will return home on Saturday and take on the Miami Heat in what could turn out to be a great game.

The Miami Heat are 4-1 on the season, coming off of a dominant win over a good Charlotte Hornets team yesterday. They’ll likely be tired, while the Grizzlies will have a night of rest before this one.

Can the Memphis Grizzlies defend their home court against the Miami Heat? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams (Site Expert): The Grizzlies have struggled offensively and until they get it together in that aspect of the game, I’ll be predicting low-scoring games. That said, Memphis will have a day of rest, while the Heat will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back, indicating that the Grizz can outlast Miami. That said, the Heat are a tough team, so this one won’t come easy for Memphis. I have the Grizzlies winning in a close one on the back of a quiet, but effective Ja Morant performance.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 108, Miami Heat 104

Will Jones: Finally the Memphis Grizzlies return home after a brutal west coast trip. They’re riding high after stealing one from Golden State but play a tough Miami Heat team who scorched the defending champs earlier this season. I think the home crowd helps nurse tired legs but the Grizzlies miss Dillon Brooks badly as the depth of this Heat team helps them get the close win in this one.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 102, Miami Heat 110

Jacob Ellerbee: The Memphis Grizzlies return home from a long road trip feeling good, but with the understanding that there’s a ton that still needs tinkering. The Heat have some tenacious defenders, which will likely translate to a difficult scoring night for Ja Morant. We’re still waiting on a performance from JJJ (13.6 PPG, 5.6 RPG) that makes everyone feel good about the massive contract he signed before the season started. Grizzlies 106 – Heat 101

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 106, Miami Heat 101

Caleb Anglin: The Memphis Grizzlies are at home for action against the Red Hot Miami Heat, pun intended. Not to put away the fact that the Grizzlies are also a hot team to start the season. No one can deny that the best player on the team is Ja Morant, but who’s a close second? That’d be Mr. Desmond Bane. Who will carry the Grizzlies to a victory at home?

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 106, Miami Heat 98
