The Memphis Grizzlies are taking a big risk with this trade, but the payout could be huge.

To become a serious contender in the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies still have a few things they need on their team, which is okay. For them to be just a few years into the rebuild and make the playoff last year is an incredible accomplishment.

However, they still have a ways to go. This team has one of the best bench units in the league in my opinion, and taking Brandon Clarke off of it would not impact the team much, especially when you consider who the Grizzlies would be adding to their team.

Memphis needs another guy who can go get a bucket at any time, especially with the way Jaren Jackson Jr. has been playing. Not only that, but a guy who can create for himself and others, but can play off the ball, would be huge for Ja Morant as well.

That is exactly why the Grizzlies should target this guy from the Indiana Pacers.

Caris LeVert, G/F: $17.5M 2 Years

The former Michigan Wolverine has been stellar when he has been on the court. That is just the thing that makes this trade so risky, especially for Memphis. LeVert has had a number of injury problems in his career so far. However, he has so much talent and potential I think the Grizzlies should take the risk.
