The Memphis Grizzlies might seem like one of the more established teams in the league, with a reliable corps in Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, and Dillon Brooks.

Still, it’s important to remember that this team is still amid a rebuild. With most of the key contributors being in their early or mid-twenties, there will likely be a few more seasons before the Grizz are contending for an NBA title.

This could potentially lead to the Grizzlies making more impactful trades before they truly contend. Today, I’m going over one three-team trade that could make a big difference in the immediate future.

The Memphis Grizzlies wouldn’t be giving up too many valuable resources, but they’d be taking a risk

Grizzlies Give: Steven Adams, Kyle Anderson, Tyus Jones, John Konchar, Future Second-Round Pick

This may seem like a lot, but considering what they’d be getting in return, this could be a good deal for the Grizzlies. That said, they’d have to give up a starter in Steven Adams and a key bench player in Kyle Anderson.

Memphis may be able to squeeze more value out of Anderson in a different deal, but at the end of the day, he’s the sixth man on this team. Again though, he’s older than most of this team’s primary corps and is at peak value.

Tyus Jones is one of the best backup point guards in the league, while John Konchar is a strong young role player who could develop into a seasoned vet. But what is Memphis getting in return?
