Option 2: The Memphis Grizzlies could ride it out without Morant

The Grizzlies already have a roster stocked with good talent. Head Coach Taylor Jenkins could roll the dice and bet on the players he has to ride out whatever time period Morant may be out of commission.

In this scenario, Tyus Jones would likely jump into the starting spot, making a starting five look something like this:

PG – Tyus Jones
SG – Desmond Bane
SF – Dillon Brooks
PF – Jaren Jackson, Jr.
C – Steven Adams

Jones has played exceptionally well whenever he’s been on the court, shooting threes at an unbelievable rate of 50%. He’s knocked down 17 of his 34 attempts this season.

He has one of the best assist-to-turnover rations, as well. He averages 3.1 assists per game and 0.6 turnovers per game.

The offense would be in capable hands with Jones as the starter for an extended period of time.
