The Memphis Grizzlies, despite being without the services of Ja Morant, have been on absolute tear.

They’ve won four consecutive games in wire-to-wire fashion, which means they’ve never been tied or trailed any any point in the game (besides 0-0), according to Grizzlies PR.

Remarkably, the team is in pretty good shape despite losing one of the best players in the NBA this season.

Let’s take a look at a few things we’ve learned about the Grizzlies since Morant went down with his injury.

Ja Morant, also known as “Coach 12,” is involved as ever

Despite not being able to help his teammates on the court with his stellar play, Ja Morant has been sitting on the sidelines coaching up his teammates. He’s been on the sidelines in every game, even during the game in which his injury occurred.

We all know the kind of competitor Ja Morant is, so it’s got to be frustrating for him to not be able to contribute, which is why he’s found a way to be helpful from the sidelines.

He’s cheering on his teammates when they’ve done something well and it looks like he’s picking them up when they get down on themselves.
