As we come to the end of 2021, it’s time to start thinking about New Year’s Resolutions for 2022 and how the Memphis Grizzlies can strive to be better and do better in the year ahead.

While the Grizzlies are in the midst of their 2021-2022 campaign, it doesn’t mean there can’t be growth and improvement made in the middle of a season.

We’re taking a look at five resolutions for the Memphis Grizzlies as we prepare to enter a new year. First up is a fairly obvious one.

Ja Morant should resolve to make the 2022 All-Star Game

Superstar Ja Morant has unquestionably made a massive leap in his game from last season. Morant has improved in virtually every statistical category.

  • Ja Morant 2020-21: 19.1 ppg, 7.4 apg, 4.0 rpg, 0.9 steals per game on 44.9 FG%
  • Ja Morant 2021-22: 23.3 ppg, 6.9 apg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 steals per game on 47.3 FG%

He is routinely featured on Sportcenter and NBA TV as having one of the best plays of the night when he’s on the floor competing. He’s become a fan favorite and league-pass favorite.

Now that All-Star voting is open, Morant needs to remind voters why he’s deserving of being an All-Star this season.
