Dillon Brooks should resolve to reduce his technical fouls

Most wouldn’t be surprised if Dillon Brooks ended up on Santa’s naughty list this year. The man has got a knack for accruing technical fouls.

Brooks has appeared in just 19 games so far this season but has been awarded 8 technical fouls by members of the in-game officiating crew— the second most in the NBA this season (Carmelo Anthony has 9).

The most memorable of those technical came in a home game against the Dallas Mavericks in which Brooks had to be restrained by coaching staff, teammates, and trainers after being ejected from the game.

He even bad-mouthed the refs after the game, which resulted in a $25,000 fine from the league.

Brooks has to learn when to walk away from an official and try to control his emotions in the heat of the moment.

Steven Adams should resolve to reduce his swearing

Earlier in the month, Steven Adams went viral on Twitter for his post-game interview with sideline reporter Rob Fischer.

The Grizzlies were in the early stages of their winning streak without Ja Morant and Adams giving an all-time great answer.

His answer was honest, hilarious and very much non-PG. It was great, but he’s got to be careful not to make a habit of it or he might be looking at a fine.

Adams is very much locked-in and probably didn’t even realize his interview was being broadcast live on television.
