The Memphis Grizzlies won a hard-fought game against top-ranked Golden State in a game that had all the trappings of a playoff game.

The Grizzlies, who were up by as many as 18, managed to hang on for the 116-108 win at home. The impressive win enables the team to lay claim to an impressive 10 game winning streak.

This team has not lost a game since Dec. 23, ironically enough against the Warriors. Memphis now leads the season series 2-1, with a final regular season match-up set for March 28.

Let’s take a look at some of the studs and duds in this game. But first, a tip of the cap to an opposing player.

Tip of the cap vs Warriors

First, a tip of the cap to Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. This was the first road game Klay Thompson has played in since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals in Toronto on June 10, 2019.

The NBA is better when Thompson is playing. It doesn’t appear that there is much drop-off in his game. He scored 17 in his first game back and 14 against the Grizzlies.

Now, on to the duds from this game.
