The Memphis Grizzlies hosted the rapidly maturing Minnesota Timberwolves inside FedEx Forum Jan. 13 with a 10-game winning streak on the line.

The Grizzlies had to scrap, claw and make a lot of in-game adjustments to keep the game close. Minnesota’s three-headed monster of Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell combined to score 84 of the team’s 108 points.

But, thanks to some late game heroics from John Konchar, the Grizzlies pulled off a 116-108 win, improving to 30-14 on the season. The Minnesota Timberwolves fall to 20-22.

Let’s take a look at some of the players who impacted the game the most tonight. But first, an acknowledgement of a Minnesota player that really impressed.

Tip of the cap to this Timberwolves player

Anthony Edwards

ANT is 100% that dude. He had a ridiculous 25 points (on 4 of 7 shooting from beyond the arc) in the first half alone. He can score from all three levels of the court and has a drive and motor similar to Ja Morant. Edwards finished the game with 30 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

He is incredibly fun to watch. The Timberwolves have themselves a stud in Anthony Edwards.
