The Memphis Grizzlies looked well rested, confident and back to having fun in the team’s resounding win over the Chicago Bulls by a score of 119-106 Jan. 17, 2022.

A featured NBA on MLK Day matinee game, the Grizzlies looked like they were back to their normal selves after getting blown-out Friday against the Dallas Mavericks, which brought an end to their franchise-best twelve game winning streak.

While the Bulls were without two starters (Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine) and key resereve Alex Caruso, the Grizzlies had a lot to be happy about during the routing of Chicago.

Let’s take a look at some of the key performers and performances in the Memphis Grizzlies bounce-back win.

Tip of the hat to this Chicago Bulls player

Chicago Bulls rookie Ayo Dosunmu looks like one of the absolute steals of the 2021 NBA Draft. The former second-round pick out of Illinois was drafted No. 38 overall and was a problem for Memphis during this game.

The kid can absolutely ball. He stuffed the stat sheet against the Grizz, recording 15 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks. The 22-year-old has taken full advantage of his increase in playing time, making Head Coach Billy Donovan and co. think about finding ways to keep him in the rotation once they are back to full strength.
