Studs vs Chicago Bulls

Steven Adams

Grizzlies big man Steven Adams may have only chipped in 2 points and 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the game against Chicago, but his biggest contribution came in the form of being Ja Morant’s muscle in a brief on-court scuffle.

Chicago’s Tony Bradley was locked up with Ja Morant and the two remained locked up for several seconds. The two nearly came to fisticuffs, but Adams came to Bradley from behind and picked him up and carried him off his feet and away from Morant.

Desmond Bane

Bane was instrumental in helping the Grizzlies establish their lead, piling in 17 points in the first half. He finished with 25 points in the game, a team-high. He shot the ball especially well against Chicago, netting 10 of his 17 field goal attempts. It was his best outing since Jan. 3 against Brooklyn when he recorded 29 points.

Tyus Jones

Jones continues to play at a phenomenal level for the Grizzlies. He chipped in 11 points and 8 assists in just 20 minutes of action. His plus/minus today was +26— an amazing output for the veteran back-up point guard.

Jones continues to make the case that he should be a part of this team even after he becomes a free agent in the off-season. He’s becoming indispensable for Memphis.

More. Grizzlies are statistically the most dangerous team in the NBA. light
