Memphis Grizzlies vs Milwaukee Bucks: odds, starters, injury reports and predictions
The Memphis Grizzlies (31-15) hit the road to face the Milwaukee Bucks (27-19) in a match-up featuring the reigning, defending NBA champions.
Memphis is kick-starting the first game of a four-game road trip without the services of Desmond Bane and Kyle Anderson, who were added to the injury report Jan. 18.
The Bucks have lost six of their past eight games and have tried to figure out how to play without the services of former All-Star Jrue Holiday. However, his return appears imminent and is questionable for the game against the Grizzlies.
If Holiday suits up, the Grizzlies are going to have their hands full in this road game.

Grizzlies projected starting line-up vs Milwaukee
With Bane out of the starting line-up, the coaching staff could go in a few different directions for the starting line-up. You should certainly expect Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson, Jr. and Steven Adams to start. Ziaire Williams has been starting games as of late. The final spot could be given to John Konchar or De’Anthony Melton.
Memphis Grizzlies vs Milwaukee Bucks Jan. 19 prediction
The Grizzlies and Bucks will feature two of the best players in the NBA at scoring in the paint: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant.
Morant is going to have a difficult time penetrating the paint with Antetokounmpo anchoring the defense. If Holiday plays, things will be that much more difficult for Morant.
Morant’s three-point shooting woes continue, shooting less than 18% from beyond the arc in the month of January.
The Grizzlies are going to have to lean on their depth more than ever against this colossal match-up with one of the most talented teams in the league.
Guys like Jarrett Culver and John Konchar will likely see an increase in minutes to help make up for Bane’s shortfall. Xavier Tillman could see extra minutes as well in Anderson’s absence.
Prediction: Grizzlies 108, Bucks 106
