The Memphis Grizzlies just looked a step slow in a tough 126-116 loss against the defending champion, Milwaukee Bucks. Although the Grizzlies didn’t come away with the win they showed great heart and resilience down the stretch of this game nearly completing the comeback.

This was a game between two of the best teams in the NBA, along with it being a duel between two of the NBA’s biggest stars in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant. These two players didn’t disappoint but the Bucks as a collective were more cohesive than the Grizzlies.

Both teams were relatively fully healthy, however, it was a matter of one playing with more energy and assertiveness than the other. That just happened to be the home team. This isn’t the way that Memphis would have liked to respond after getting a big win against the Chicago Bulls.

Tip of the hat to the Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks showed why they are the defending champion and that was led by none other than Finals MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak finished with 33 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, completely dominating in all facets. Whenever the Grizzlies went on a run, he would calm things down and just expand the gap even larger.

With that being said lets look at the studs and duds from the Grizzlies’ loss against the Bucks.
