The Memphis Grizzlies are playing some of the basketball we’ve seen since the Grit n’ Grind era, including notching a double-digit win streak.

We’ve seen player after player step-up due to injuries and Covid-19 protocols. The Grizzlies are playing selfless basketball and have 100% buy-in from Ja Morant at the top, to the last guys on the bench.

With such a successful first-half of the season, what will the second-half hold for this unit? We’re making some bold predictions for the Memphis Grizzlies and what you could expect for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

No 1. The Grizzlies will notch another 10+ game winning streak

The Grizzlies went on a remarkable twelve-game winning streak and played like the most dominant team in the league. That all came crashing down when the Dallas Mavericks came to town and brought the streak to a grinding halt.

Memphis bounced back in the following game against Chicago, but face some playoff-tested teams in the coming days.

However, the Grizzlies have a very good chance at doing something very special. They have a realistic shot to go undefeated in the month of February. There are just 10 games on the slate for the short month (and for the most part) are all against teams hovering at or below .500. The likelihood of the streak is increased do to a scheduled break in action for the 2022 NBA All-Star Game festivities in the middle of the month.

Here’s what the schedule looks like:

Feb 2: @ NY
Feb 5: @ Orlando
Feb. 8 vs LA Clippers
Feb 10: @ Detroit
Feb 12: @ Charlotte
Feb 15: @ New Orleans
Feb 16: vs Portland
Feb 24: @ Minnesota
Feb 26: @ Chicago
Feb 28: vs San Antonio

The toughest games on this list will be at New York, which is on TNT. Followed by games at Minnesota (scrapy and dangerous) and Chicago (against a likely healthy Bulls team).
