The Memphis Grizzlies (31-16) continue their four-game road trip when they take on the Denver Nuggets (23-20) at Ball Arena.

The reigning league MVP, Nikola Jokic, is going to be incredibly difficult to slow down with a depleted Grizzlies roster.

Jokic is coming off an incredible performance against the LA Clippers in which he recorded 49 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals on 64% shooting from the field.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better player in the NBA today than the fifth-year big man from Serbia.

Denver is the fourth-best in the NBA in assists per game with 26.6 per game, according to the NBA.

Let’s take a look at some keys to the game.

Grizzlies projected starting line-up vs Denver

Head Coach Taylor Jenkins is back one the sidelines for the Grizzlies and you can expect him to roll with the same line-up he used against the Bucks: Ja Morant, Ziaire Williams, John Konchar, Jaren Jackson and Steven Adams.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Denver Nuggets Jan. 21 prediction

The Grizzlies had a combined 63 points from Jaren Jackson and Ja Morant against Milwaukee and they’ll need to produce a similar output for the team to have a chance against Denver.

Memphis needs another player to step-up in a big way. Jarrett Culver, Konchar or Williams have to be ready to knock down some three-point shots in the game.

Steven Adams and Jaren Jackson, coming off a game in which they tried to slow Giannis Antetokounmpo, will now try to do the same to Jokic.

Jokic has an incredibly high basketball IQ and will use his skills to get Jackson in foul trouble and on the bench for long stretches of the game.

Morant is once again going to have to put the team on his back and score 30-35 points to give Memphis a chance. The soon-to-be All-Star will do just that and give Memphis its first road win since Jan. 10 at the LA Lakers.

Prediction: Grizzlies 110, Nuggets 105
