Memphis Grizzlies duds vs Denver Nuggets

Jarrett Culver

Culver was called upon to give relief minutes to Ja Morant in this game and was very hot and cold. The 22-year-old did manage to contribute 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

However, it was his 5 fouls and 3 turnovers in 16 minutes of play that was underwhelming. His performance is disappointing because Culver has shown some flashes that he can be a regular contributor to this team.

Xavier Tillman, Sr.

Tillman couldn’t stay out of foul trouble either, recording three fouls in just 10 minutes of action. He had the lowest plus/minus on the team with a -4.

The Grizzlies really needed Tillman to chip in and take pressure off of Steven Adams and Jaren Jackson in trying to subdue Jokic, but was essentially non-plussed in the game.
