Memphis Grizzlies studs vs Denver Nuggets

Ja Morant

Ja Morant added yet another signature performance to his already impressive resume. Morant finished the evening with 38 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds on 58% shooting from the field. He earned a new career-high for points in the first half with 23, making his evening that much more special.

Morant is a near-lock to become a starter in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game. We’ll know for sure if he’s made it as a starter Jan. 27 when the league announces the results of the fan, player and media voting.

Ziaire Williams

The rookie out of Standford had one of his most impressive outings in his young career against Denver.

His 17 points and 2 steals tied a career high in both categories. His 5 rebounds is a new career-best. He was 6 for 8 from the field, including two made threes.

Williams is making most of these starting opportunities in place of Desmond Bane, who remains in Health & Safety Protocols.
