The Memphis Grizzlies were able to coast to an easy road win over the rebuilding Detroit Pistons Feb. 10, just minutes after the NBA All-Star Draft concluded.

The scrappy club from Detroit competed without the services of star rookie Cade Cunningham or newly acquired Marvin Bagley III, but managed to keep the game within respectable reach in the second half.

The Grizzlies led by as many as 28 points and ended up finishing the game on top, 132-107 over the Pistons. Memphis has now scored 130+ points in three consecutive games, which isn’t half-bad when you realize this is not exactly an amazing three-point shooting team.

Let’s take a look at some of the key performers and performances from the big win in Detroit.

Tip of the hat to the Detroit Pistons

Hamidou Diallo, the former Slam Dunk Champion has blossomed his game into something so much more than highlight reel dunks.

The 45th overall pick in the 2018 draft finished the night with an impressive 17 points and 10 rebounds. The 6’5″ guard was scoring against Memphis in a variety of ways, keeping the team’s defense on its heels for portions of the game.

Diallo, on a team-friendly $5.2 million contract is taking full advantage of 22.4 minutes per game he’s getting with Detroit.
