4. Ja Morant was lit and had the internet buzzing all weekend

One of the most viral moments from the entire weekend appeared to be Morant traveling to Cleveland and was partaking in some adult beverages to get into a celebratory mood of making it to the All-Star Game.

At one point during his celebration, he called out ESPN and told them they should be televising more Grizzlies games on their networks.

During his media availability he captivated members of the media when they brought up the video of him drinking and celebrating.

“If y’all have a little drink or something, think of me,” Morant said.

3. Several top stars were bragging about the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant

NBA Champion and small market cohort Giannis Antetokounmpo had some high praise for Ja Morant and Memphis.

“I’ve seen Ja, like, he’s improved every single year,” Antetokounmpo said. “I think he’s having an unbelievable year this year. Crazy.” He went on to say that he thinks Morant can win a championship for Memphis, market size be damned.

NBA legend Reggie Miller called Morant “the new face” of the NBA moving forward during one point in the telecast of the All-Star Game.
