Remember the date: Feb. 28, 2022— it’s the date Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant nearly ended the career of San Antonio Spurs player Jokob Poeltl.
The 6’3″ point guard threw down a massive in-game dunk in the Feb. 28 meeting between the two teams.
Morant received a one-handed half-court pass from Steven Adams. He got the ball well in advance of the three point line, took two dribbles and took off from outside the paint to unleash a ferocious dunk over the 7’1″ Austrian center.
Check out the various angles of the dunk.
Ja Morant had the sickest in-game dunk you’ll ever see vs San Antonio

Just a few minutes later, Ja Morant followed up the amazing dunk with a full-court alley-oop pass from Steven Adams at the buzzer before half-time. It’s just as impressive as dunking over the seven footer.
Adams took the ball out of bounds, cocked the basketball back with one hand like he was a quarterback throwing a hail mary and connected with Ja Morant in the opposite corner 90-feet away mid-air.
Ja grabbed the ball like a wide receiver and shot it before landing and watched as the ball slithered through the hoop.
There's no words for Ja Morant at this point. Unreal. pic.twitter.com/JgdalqABjB
