Memphis Grizzlies: 5 most important games remaining this season
How will the Memphis Grizzlies fare against the projected top two seeds?
Memphis will have to face the likely No. 1 seed Phoenix Suns and likely No. 2 seed Golden State Warriors in a span of four days. It’s going to be a gauntlet, but it’ll be yet another indicator of what the team should expect for the upcoming playoffs.
March 28: Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors
Memphis leads the regular season series 2-1 against Golden State this season. Expect the Warriors to absolutely bring it in this game. The Warriors don’t want to cede the regular season series to Memphis and will want a tie in case the Grizzlies are able to catch up in the standings.
Will Draymond Green be healthy and ready to go by the time this game rolls around? That’s unclear as of right now, but even without Green, the Warriors are still one of the best teams in the NBA.
Currently, this game is scheduled to air live on NBA TV at 7 p.m. CT.
April 1: Grizzlies vs Phoenix Suns
Memphis and Phoenix are only playing each other three times this season and they enter this contest tied with one win apiece this season.
Chris Paul may not be recovered from his fractured finger in time for this game, but even without him, this is a team that went to the NBA Finals just last season. They know what it takes to win games and how to play against any style of basketball.
If the Grizzlies can top the best team in the NBA late in the season, it’ll do wonders for the team’s confidence heading into the playoffs.
This game is scheduled to air live on NBA TV at 7 p.m. CT.
