Ja Morant will finally get the chance to play in front of a national tv audience for the first time in nearly two months when the Boston Celtics (37-27) host the Memphis Grizzlies (43-20) at the TD Garden on TNT at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Morant is coming off a big game at Chicago when he scored a career-high 46 points and an even better night when against San Antonio when he scored a new career-high and franchise-best 52 points.

Let’s take a look at what to expect when the Beale Street Bears take on the Jayson Tatum and the Celtics.

Grizzlies vs Celtics injury report

Each team will be competing without key starters. For Memphis, Dillon Brooks continues to be out of action as he works his way from a left ankle sprain.

  • John Konchar – Questionable (left ankle sprain)
  • Dillon Brooks – Out (left ankle sprain)
  • Yves Pons – Out (left thigh soreness)

For Boston, 2021 All-Star Jaylen Brown has been ruled out with a right ankle sprain, according to the injury report provided by Boston.

Grizzlies starting line-up vs Celtics

Memphis will likely continue using the same line-up we’ve been seeing since Dillon Brooks was  sidelined with a left ankle sprain. Expect a starting five of Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Ziaire Williams, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Steven Adams for he Grizzlies.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Boston Celtics March 3 prediction

How will Morant follow-up his historic performance in front of a nationally televised audience? Something tells me he’s going to kick it into gear and dominate the game.

Morant averaged 33 points per game in the month of February, which included three outbursts of 44 or more points.

Grizzlies big man Steven Adams has been an important piece for Memphis. The New Zealander is averaging 15 rebounds and 5 assists per game since the All-Star Break.

If Memphis is able to contain superstar Jayson Tatum and keep him below his averages, Memphis will have a chance to get a tough road win against a really good team.

Since the All-Star Break, Taytum is averaging more than 28 points per game. He’s one of the most gifted offensive players in the NBA. It’ll take the efforts of several players to try and slow him down.

Prediction: Memphis 109, Boston 104
