The Memphis Grizzlies have just a dozen or so games left in the regular season, which means time is running out to clean things up and win key games to solidify playoff seeding.

The Grizzlies have gotten a nice boost from getting Dillon Brooks back into the fold after a two-month absence due to injury.

We’re taking a look at the five biggest questions heading in to the final games of the regular season.

No 5. Will the Memphis Grizzlies be able to hang on to the two-seed?

The number one seed is pretty firmly out of the question for the Grizzlies. Phoenix has an eight-game lead over Memphis as of this writing.

Memphis, at 48-22, are the owners of the second-best record in the league, behind only Phoenix. The Golden State Warriors are the only team nipping at the heels of Ja Morant and the Grizzlies for the No. 2 seed in the West at 47-23. Utah is currently the No. 3 seed with a 43-26— too much ground to make up.

The Grizzlies have just one game of separation between themselves and Golden State. The Warriors most recently lost five games in a row, followed by four wins in a row before losing to the Boston Celtics at home March 16.

The Warriors have just gotten back Draymond Green back from a injury after a weeks-long absence due to injury. They’ll get things clicking in short order. Five of their final 12 games are against playoff-bound teams.

If Memphis keeps playing like they did against Indiana on March 15, they’ll have no problem hanging on to the No. 2 seed.
