The Memphis Grizzlies got a decisive win over the struggling Golden State Warriors March 28 in a game that had little implications on playoff seeding.

There are six games remaining on the schedule and the Grizzlies have a five-game lead over the No. 3 seed.

Effectively, if the Memphis Grizzlies win one more game and the Warriors lose one more game, the No. 2 seed will belong to Memphis no matter how the remaining games shake out.

The Grizzlies improve to 53-23 and the Warriors fall to 48-28 on the season.

While this game won’t impact the playoff seeding much, we did learn quite a bit about these two talented squads.

No 5. Memphis Grizzlies fans still won’t let Andre Iguodala off the hook

Ever since Grizz fans learned that veteran Andre Iguodala refused to report to Memphis after the team acquired him in an offseason trade during the 2020-2021 season, fans have loved to hate the former Finals MVP.

The Grizzlies eventually traded Iguodala to Miami and he eventually found his way back to the Warriors. He had missed the past 21 games due to a lower back injury and tonight was his first game back.

But that didn’t stop Memphis fans from reminding Iguodala they still remember the tantrum he threw about how much he did not want to be in Memphis.

Every time the former champion touched the ball, he was met with immediate boos from Grizzlies fans.
