No 4. De’Anthony Melton extends his epic heater

De’Anthony Melton is having one of the best stretches of his young career these past handful of games.

The fourth-year guard normally averages around 10 ppg for the Grizzlies this season, but in the span of the last five games, Melton is crushing it on offense.

He’s averaging 20.6 ppg since March 20 and he’s made 26 of 43 from beyond the arc, which is just insane. Is there a hotter bench player in the NBA than #0?

No 3. There’s a spot for Xavier Tillman on an NBA team, just maybe not this one

Xavier Tillman Sr. has gotten a few extra minutes of playing time as of late for the short-handed Grizzlies. However, the former Michigan State product has generally been unable to crack the regular rotation, seeing few minutes beyond garbage time.

Tillman recorded 4 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 25 minutes of action. He’s just in his second season, but he’s buried deep on the bench behind Steven Adams, Jaren Jackson Jr., Brandon Clarke and Kyle Anderson.

Keep an eye on the 23-year-old in the offseason. There may be a market for him and the Grizzlies could look to move on from him so he’s in a situation in which he can actually play. He could be a nice asset in a bigger trade in which he’s not the featured player being transacted.
