No 1. Biggest margin of victory ever in an NBA game

Who can forget one of the most amazing feats ever accomplished in a professional basketball game?

On December 2, 2021, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by 73 points. No team in the history of the NBA has ever defeated a team by that many points in a single game.

The previous record for margin of victory in an NBA game was a 68-point win by the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Miami Heat in December of 1991.

The team’s 152-79 win is a record that will probably stand the test of time for years to come and one that the entire roster should be extremely proud to have earned.

Still possible: Franchise record for wins in the regular season

No Memphis Grizzlies team has ever won more than 56 games in a single regular season in the history of the franchise. That mark was set during the height of the Grit N’ Grind era back in 2012-13.

The 2021-22 Grizzlies are sitting at 55 wins this season. With three-game remaining, the team has a real chance to tie or even break the record for most wins.

If that record is broken, it’ll be safe to say that this is the greatest Grizzlies team ever assembled in the nearly 30-year history of this franchise.
