No 2. Memphis Grizzlies get 4+ assists from Steven Adams

The Grizzlies are 24-9 this season when the Big Kiwi records 4 or more assists this season, per Stat Muse.

For the uninitiated, Adams has turned into one of the best passing big men in the entire league. He’s averaging a career-high 3.4 APG, a massive leap from the 1.9 APG he averaged in New Orleans last season.

If Adams can get his passing game going, it’s going to create a ton of opportunities for guys like Desmond Bane, Ja Morant, and Dillon Brooks to slash and score points.

If Adams can lure Towns out to the three-point line and act as a facilitator, it’ll help create open driving lanes for Morant to get into the paint— his sweet spot.

Morant led the entire NBA in paint scoring this season, something most people thought was unthinkable for a 6’3″ guard to do, yet here is Morant continuing to defy expectations.

Hopefully, Adams coming out to the three-point line to hit some cutters will not be at the expense of him being in a position to get offensive rebounds, one of the biggest skillsets he brings to this Grizzlies squad.

Adams the passer is going to be a ton of fun to watch and if he can get to that 4+ mark, the Grizzlies are going to be in a great position to win the game.
