No 4. Who steps up to hit three-point shots for the Memphis Grizzlies?

The Grizzlies are so three-point shy it’s not even funny. This is a team that thrives by scoring in the paint (shout-out Ja Morant) and scoring off of second-chance points (shout-out Steven Adams).

Only three players made a three-point shot in Game 1. That can’t happen again in Game 2. More players need to knock down three-point shots or the paint is going to get stuffed with long, lanky athletic defenders.

Can Jackson knock down some threes? What about De’Anthony Melton or Ziaire Williams? We have to get some of the bench players involved from beyond the arc in Game 2.

No 5. How much leeway should Steven Adams be given in Game 2?

Grizzlies fans absolutely unloaded on Steven Adams on social media during and after his Game 1 performance vs Minnesota.

The veteran big man looked like a shell of his former self against Karl-Anthony Towns. Adams has been terrific all season long for Memphis, serving as a superb passer and league-leading offensive rebounder at 4.6 ORPG.

But, Towns came into Game 1 with a great game plan and managed to get Adams into foul trouble. KAT is so much faster and more athletic than Adams, which begs the question of how much leeway should he be given before he’s subbed out in Game 2?

Kyle Anderson did a much better job guarding KAT than Adams. If Jaren Jackson Jr. can stay out of foul trouble, he could force the former Kentucky product into altering his shot and force him into making errors.
