What should your expectations be for Memphis Grizzlies in the playoffs?

The team has grown so much in only a year. Last year, they played the number one seed Utah Jazz and lost in five games—losing four straight in what seemed like a huge defeat.

However, In that defeat, they learned how to prep for a series and make adjustments. They learned what it’s like to make the playoffs and see a championship on the horizon and fall short.

They learned how the city will rally around you even more than they already do once the playoffs come around.

The Grizzlies have no short task in beating the Timberwolves, who have arguably outplayed them for the majority of the series thus far.

The Grizzlies could find their floor quickly, but they will win this series because they have conviction. They do not only want to win a championship for themselves but for their teammates, for their coaches, for their families, and for the city in which they have all become adopted sons.

They are not the old Grizzlies in many ways, but they both share the most important common bond: All Heart. Grit. Grind.

Your expectations should be nothing short of the team’s: an NBA Championship.

Believe Memphis.
