No. 5: What happens if the Memphis Grizzlies lose Game 5?

If the Grizzlies lose again at home on April 26 vs the Timberwolves, they will fall behind in the series 2-3.

If the team falls behind, you have to start wondering about the team’s mindset and their confidence level. Will they be able to shake off a loss at home and win a game with the season on the line?

Game 6 will be played at The Target Center in Minnesota. If the Timberwolves have a chance to win the series on their home court, it would be a doomsday scenario for Memphis.

An electric Minnesota crowd and a confident team with through-the-roof adrenaline and energy would create a perfect storm of chaos for Memphis.

And, with the way the team has been playing, would likely result in a less-than favorable outcome for the Grizzlies.

Fortunately, there’s a way to avoid all of that doomsday talk and that’s to win Game 5 and take a 3-2 series lead.

This Game 5 at home, inside FedEx Forum, is a must-win game for the Grizzlies.
