No. 2: Ja Morant got his mojo back in Q4 for the Memphis Grizzlies

Morant, who has been dealing with lingering injuries from his punishing style of play during the regular season, finally got his rhythm back in the final quarter of Game 5 vs the Timberwolves.

12 played a game-high 45 minutes and scored a game-high 30 points, according to ESPN. The final quarter was vintage Morant, which saw him throw down an absolute hammer that set the internet on fire, gave the team its first lead of the half late in the game, and hit the game-winning layup.

Despite being baned up and knocked down constantly, Morant never wavered. It’s safe to say 12 got his swag back.

No. 3: Jaren Jackson Jr. was a non-factor for the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 5

Jaren Jackson Jr. continues to be not just a massive dissapointment for the team, but of the entire playoffs.

The former Michigan State product fouled out of the game once again in Game 5. He played a series-low 18 minutes, which is just insane to think about for someone that’s about to start getting paid from a $100 million + deal.

Jackson finished Game 5 with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 fouls in 18 minutes of action. It’s incredibly frustrating to see Jackson in such a terrible slump.

Hopefully, if the team is fortuante enough to advance to the next round, he’ll have some time to get out of his own head and be better in round two.
