No. 2: Warriors have no answer for Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr.

Golden State has had a difficult time trying to keep Jaren Jackson Jr. contained on offense. The former Michigan State product has taken a massive leap forward in his game during the second round.

Jackson played so terribly in the first round vs Minnesota, many fans were getting nervous that he was unable to produce when it mattered most in the playoffs.

Any and all of those doubts have been washed away vs the Warriors. Jackson Jr., is averaging 20.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2 bpg, and 1 spg vs the Golden State Warriors.

Jackson has nailed 16 three-point shots in this series, which has helped draw out defenders and keep the driving lanes open.

The Warriors have had some success with Draymond Green guarding Jackson, but the size advantage 6’6″ vs 6’11” is so jarring that even if Jackson gets locked down, he can find his teammates and help them get open looks.

Watching Jackson’s development in this series has been a real treat for Grizzlies fans and it could not have come at a better time.

Jackson erupted for 33 points in Game 1 vs Golden State. If he can get to that 20+ point mark, or even creep into the 30-point mark, the Grizzlies are going to win the game.

In fact, the Grizzlies were 13-3 during the regular season when Jackson scored 22 or more points in the game, according to Stat Muse.
