Predicting NBA 2k23 ratings for Memphis Grizzlies players after stellar season

The Memphis Grizzlies were one of the biggest surprises of the 2021-2022 NBA season. Memphis had the 2nd best record in the league, going 56-26, and made it to the Western Conference semi-finals. Memphis put the league on notice as one of the most exciting seasons in Memphis history unfolded before their very eyes. The creators of NBA 2k23 have been watching as well.

Since it is now the off-season, it’s that time of the year for NBA fans to start debating different topics, from the draft to free agency to summer league predictions. One of my favorite topics, however, is how 2k (an American video game publisher based in Novato, California, which makes NBA games) will adjust the player ratings of various NBA players. If a player had a good run in the playoffs or a breakout season, 2k may give that player a much-needed boost to their rating to reflect their current level of play.

NBA 2k23 does not release until September 9th, so baring any official releases of ratings from the video game publisher, these predictions will do.
