Who are the best players on the Memphis Grizzlies?

The top 125 NBA players have been named for the 2022-23 NBA season thanks to an annual project commissioned by The Athletic. Four Memphis Grizzlies players have made the list for the 2022-23 season and two have dropped out after making last year’s list.

Playoff viability, production in recent seasons, durability, and versatility are all considered when Seth Partnow, the architect of this project, created his tiered system of the Top 125 NBA Players.

Partnow stops short of flat-out ranking the best players in order and instead positions them in pods or “tiers.”

He’s created five tiers with sub-groups layered within each tier. For example, instead of having a slew of players squished together in Tier 3, he’s created Tier 3A, Tier 3B, and Tier 3C to create a little bit of separation between players.

Tier 5 consists of the top 85 to 125 players, Tier 4 consists of the top 41-84 players, Tier 3 is where the top 20-40 players reside, Tier 2 is where players No. 9 through 19 will be and the elite-level players reside in Tier 1— the top 8 players in the entire league.

Let’s check out who’s made this year’s list of Top 125 NBA Players from the Memphis Grizzlies.
