The Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, have unveiled a new baseball jersey inspired by the Memphis Grizzlies and their official color scheme.
It’s the fifth year the Redbirds have designed and worn a new “Memphis Redbirds Grizz Connect” jersey.
The team is set to wear them during their game against the Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A affiliate of the 2021 MLB World Champion Atlanta Braves, on Grizzlies Night (September 24).

The jerseys have a familiar look, taking several notes from the Grizzlies’ 2021-22 City Edition jerseys.
The baseball jersey features the same navy blue, yellow accents, and a dash of Beale Street blue in the jersey.
Emblazoned across the front is the word MEMPHIS, spelled out in the neon-sign style font the Redbirds have used since they underwent a rebrand several years ago.

The jerseys look fantastic and will be given away to the first 5,000 fans in attendance on Grizzlies Night, according to a release from the Memphis Redbirds.
Several festivities are set to take place before and during the game, all in the name of celebrating the city’s NBA franchise before they kick off their 2022-23 season.
This includes Zach Randolph signing autographs for fans in the 3rd base cove on the concourse from 1:30-2:30 PM. So, fans will want to be sure to get there extra early for a chance to see Z-Bo and perhaps score an autograph from one of the all-time great players in franchise history.
The Redbirds report “select Grizzlies players will be at AutoZone Park” and the Grizzline drummers will be performing and welcoming fans to the stadium.
Grizz, the team’s mascot, will be in attendance, as well as the Grizz Girls and Claw Crew.
Grizzlies Night at AutoZone Park is scheduled for Saturday, September 24. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 3:05 PM CT.
