For Memphis Grizzlies fans residing in the Mid-South, some big news was announced today that all five of the team’s preseason games will be broadcast live on Bally Sports.

Bally Sports Southeast and its longtime broadcasting crew, comprised of announcer Pete Pranica, analyst Brevin Knight, and sideline reporter Rob Fischer, will be covering three of the preseason games.

The remaining two games will be broadcast on Bally Sports Southeast, but will feature the opposing team’s broadcasting crew.

This is an exciting slate of games for the Memphis Grizzlies and will be our first opportunity to see some of the team’s newest additions since the Las Vegas Summer League.

It’ll be interesting to see how Ziaire Williams, Santi Aldama, Xavier Tillman Sr., David Roddy, Kennedy Chandler, Jake LaRavia, Vince Williams Jr. and Kenneth Lofton Jr. play in the preseason vs what we saw from them shortly after being drafted back in June.

It’s unlikely we’ll see many minutes from the starters or any experienced veterans during the preseason.

But, with so many new faces on the team, perhaps Head Coach Taylor Jenkins will mix in some veterans with the rookies to see if they can create some on-court chemistry before wins and losses matter.

Bally Sports is anticipating that they’ll broadcast 74 of the team’s games on their network throughout the 2022-23 season.
