Desmond Bane to average 22+ PPG for Memphis Grizzlies in 2022-23

Odds: +850
Sportsbook: DraftKings

Desmond Bane averaged 18.2 points per game last season, so he’ll have to add about four more points per game than what he did last season to win this prop bet. That’s pretty attainable— we’re talking an additional two baskets per game for him to get to a scoring average of 22 or more points per game.

Bane is more than capable of accomplishing this feat. In fact, he scored 22 or more points on 26 different occasions last season. When you consider that Jaren Jackson Jr. won’t be available for the first few weeks of the season, this creates the potential for even more scoring for Desmond Bane. Also, with Dillon Brooks reportedly looking to be more efficient with his shot selection, it may give Bane more opportunities, too.

At +850, this seems like crazy high odds for something that seems very much within reach for the former No. 30 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

If Bane eclipses that 22 PPG benchmark, he and Ja Morant will have to be considered the best backcourt in the NBA.

A $25 wager on this action would payout $237.50
