Ja Morant to make First Team All-NBA after 2022-23 season

Odds: +220
Sportsbook: DraftKings

Ja Morant was named Second Team All-NBA for his outstanding play throughout the 2021-22 NBA season. If he takes another big step forward in his game, he has a decent shot at being named to First Team All-NBA.

This is just a straight-up bet that will hit if Morant is voted into the elite tier of NBA players at the end of the 2022-23 season.

Last season, the first team consisted of Devin Booker, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic. Joining Morant in the second team: Stephen Curry, DeMar DeRoza, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid.

It seems like Morant will need to leapfrog Booker and/or Curry to get that guard spot alongside Doncic. With the way things are going in Phoenix, don’t expect an easy road to success for Booker and his teammates. With Curry, he’s another year older and may or may not have Jordan Poole nipping at his heels looking to prove himself worthy of a massive contract extension with Golden State.

Trae Young will have to share the rock with newcomer Dejounte Murray in Atlanta. Chris Paul is in the same boat as Booker. Unless someone emerges out of left field, Morant has a serious chance to get that First Team All-NBA spot this season.

A $25 wager on this action would payout $80.00.
