Memphis Grizzlies players rarely drafted in Fantasy Basketball

Zaire Williams: 140.1 ADP 0.9% Rostered – Perfectly Valued
Xavier Tillman: 140.1 ADP 0.1% Rostered – Perfectly Valued
John Konchar: 140 ADP 0.1% Rostered – Perfectly Valued
Danny Green: 140 ADP 0.5% Rostered – Perfectly Valued
Tyus Jones: 139 ADP 3% Rostered – Undervalued

I think every one of these guys are great players for Memphis, as their contributions to the team go far beyond the box score. I could not imagine the team without them. But in fantasy, the box score is the most important thing. One could make an argument for Danny Green, but there is a good chance that he does not play this year and if he does it would be late into the season and is not worth drafting at this moment.

Tyus Jones on the other hand is being undervalued. He is a backup point guard; however, he has had the highest assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA. Tyus is still going to get minutes, and with that, he is going to get assists, without points deducted for turnovers. Tyus is good to draft in later rounds. In some fantasy platforms, Tyus Jones is seeing a higher percent rostered.  Last year, Tyus Jones scored more fantasy points in fewer minutes than OG Anunoby (83% rostered) and Anfernee Simons (78% rostered). This in itself also shows Tyus’s value. If you are in a league and he falls to you in later rounds, he is going to be an essential pick-up.
