The Memphis Grizzlies preseason wrapped up last Thursday, as they defeated the Detroit Pistons in convincing fashion.

This victory brought their preseason record to 3-2. They defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, split their two-game series against the Orlando Magic, and fell to the Miami Heat.

There were many enticing questions fans were hoping to be answered. Such as Jaren Jackson Jr.’s future starting lineup replacement, which rookies would step up and look NBA-ready, and what Taylor Jenkins’ rotation would like heading into the regular season. All managed to be answered, for the most part.

When taking a look at the preseason as a whole, some players shined and looked destined for increased production heading into 2022-23, while others left fans shaky on if they would be the reason for a setback in the Grizzlies’ success.

With that being said, let’s dive into grading every player’s preseason performance before opening night tomorrow night against the Knicks.
